// Protect the land
The Georgian Bay Land Trust is a registered charity dedicated to protecting wilderness lands along eastern Georgian Bay and the North Channel.
Our work with individuals and communities has protected over 10,000 acres of Georgian Bay’s most ecologically significant places. These wetlands, forests, rock barrens, and islands provide key habitat for 50 species at risk, and our public-access properties provide recreational opportunities for communities.
Our conservation research projects aim to discover new information about the species and habitats most significant to the Georgian Bay ecosystem, to help us protect them better.
Your donation helps to protect the unique wilderness of Georgian Bay
Your donation will make it possible to conserve more of Georgian Bay’s lands and wetlands forever, and steward the 83 protected places now under the Land Trust’s care.
