Volunteering

Be a GBLT Volunteer

The Georgian Bay Land Trust is driven by the passion and commitment of hundreds of volunteers who give time to help our Bay. If you’re passionate about Georgian Bay and want to make a difference in protecting its natural beauty, we could use your help.

There are dozens of ways to get involved. We always need people to help with fundraising or organizing special events like the Bayscapes Auction or Winterlude. Or we are regularly looking for people to simply help out with administrative items and getting things done in the office.

GBLT’s Board of Directors and various committees are all volunteer-led, and often in need of new members who want to share their love for the Bay.

Be a GBLT Property Steward

If you’d like to be out on the Bay and help care for one of our properties, we’re always seeking new GBLT Stewards. For more information about the GBLT Stewardship Program visit here.

To become a GBLT volunteer, submit the application form online or get in touch with Aaron at (416) 440-1519 x103 or aaron.rusak@gblt.org.
