Winterlude 2008
Thanks to all those hardy souls who braved the elements on Thursday February 6th to join us at our annual Winterlude event at the Rosedale Golf Club. Andrea Curtis, author of ”Into the Blue” spoke about the history of Georgian Bay.

Shoot a tree. Save the Bay
The Trees of Georgian Bay poster was unveiled at the Get Bent Tree Event. Tuesday, November 20. The event included a silent auction of the 25 photos selected for inclusion on the poster, and a live auction The Trees of Georgian Bay poster is AVAILABLE AT THESE STORES. Triumphant return of Shakespeare on the Rocks
"Much Ado about Nothing" was presented August 11, at the cottage of Cynthia and Peter Kemerer. Stars included the Kemerers' children with the support of the Saunderson Family and all of Cognashene.

GBLT Art Auction Report
The 2nd art auction at the Badminton & Racquet Club on Saturday, November 25, 2006 was a great success and raised over $42,000 for the GBLT. Attendance exceeded 150 people. Thanks so much to our committee for their great work. GBLT Picnics - This year (2006) the GBLT organized picnics on 4 of our properties (Lizard Island, South-east Wooded Pine Island, Umbrella Island, Friend Island) to celebrate the efforts of our local communities in helping us protect special places on the Bay.
