"This land has been in my family since 1906 after my uncle surveyed it. Because my sons and I don't get up to the Bay much anymore we decided to donate to the Conservancy. In this way we knew it would be preserved in it's natural state and never developed. It is there for other Bay lovers to enjoy."
The Georgian Bay Land Trust depends on relationships with our partners to reach our goals in land protection, stewardship, communication, volunteerism, and fundraising. The Georgian Bay Land Trust seeks to preserve the unique archipelago and the adjacent water bodies which lie along the eastern shore and North Channel of Georgian Bay that are of ecological, geological and historical importance, and to promote the appreciation of this special area.
